Berg indoctrinated his members in “The Law of Love” through distribution of Mo’s letters. Through imagery and statements promoting sexual relations among members, many second generation members grew up from birth experiencing and believing sexual relations between children and adults and that incest was an act of love. If they refused advances, members were abused and put to shame. Many ex-cult members became chemically dependent and committed suicide.
The artwork represents the innocence of childhood, the indoctrination and the generational destructive nature of sexual abuse, as Berg was a victim of sexual abuse himself.
